Vicki (Allyn) Engelhardt-Lambert 1949 - 2020

Allyn Vicki Lambert, a sassy 70-year-old woman, who went by "Vicki," passed away on April 28, 2020 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

She was born on August 27, 1949 and was the oldest of four children. She grew up in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

As a young woman attending college in Wahoo, Nebraska, a handsome young student named Walter Ron Lambert, who also preferred to be called by his middle name, swept her off her feet and they eloped. They were married for 50 years when she passed away.

She seemed like a quiet woman to those who didn't know her, but was quick to quip when given the opportunity to show her wit.

She loved sending holiday cards for every occasion, often sending them months in advance so she didn't forget.

She raised her family and worked most of her career in Fitchburg, MA at Burbank Hospital.

She was an extremely proud grandmother and loved to see her grandchildren as much as possible, even if it was on an iPad. She loved to shop and find new and exciting new trinkets, though not as much as she loved to discover new shoes for her collection. She was exceptional at crocheting and needlework. She made many blankets, rugs, pillowcases and placemats for her family and loved ones.

She leaves behind a loving husband, Walter Ron Lambert, her son Zach Lambert and daughter-in-law Shelley Lambert, her daughter Lauren Kores and son-in-law Noah Kores as well six grandchildren: Logan and Brooke Lambert, Keegan, Casper, Calvin, and Hazel Kores. She is survived by three siblings, Phillip Engelhardt, Linda Engelhardt and Marci Ellacott as well as lots of nieces and nephews and family and friends.

Due to Covid-19, a memorial service will be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to: https://www.feedingamerica.org.
